Once we know the venue, someone needs to call nearby hotels and ask about group rate availability for our approximate headcount and date range. Pure legwork, no prior context needed beyond the basics.

The full event will be streamed live throughout the day. We need someone to own the technical side: hardware, OBS configuration, and stream management from start to finish. Experience with live streaming competitive games is a strong plus.

We want to offer something attendees can take home. This role involves gauging community interest on what items would resonate most (shirts, stickers, pins, etc.), researching vendors and print-on-demand options, and coming back with a recommendation on what to offer and where to source it.

Day-Of Registration Desk
Someone to own check-in on the day, greeting attendees, confirming names against the registrant list, handing out any materials. Friendly, organized, and comfortable being the first face people see when they walk in.

Lunch Coordination
Scouting nearby food options near the venue, making a reservation or placing a group order for the lunch break. Practical event logistics that make the day run smoothly for 20 to 50 people.

Spread the Word
No formal role needed, just share the interest form with anyone in the minesweeper community who might want to come. Post it on Discord, Reddit, social media, or send it directly to friends. This one anyone can do right now.

Community Event Organizing
The Friday evening meetup, Saturday post-event hangout, and Sunday brunch don't organize themselves. This role involves scouting venues, making reservations, and herding the group across all three social gatherings. Someone who's good at logistics and comfortable with the informal stuff that often matters most to how a weekend actually feels.

We want to actually document this event — not just stream it. Someone to move through the room taking photos and candid video throughout the day: matches in progress, reactions, group moments, the awards ceremony. No professional gear required, just a good eye and the initiative to capture the day as it happens. These photos will live on as the record of the first NA Regional.

Awards, Trophies & Prizes
Four events, four champions — they deserve something real to take home. This role means sourcing and coordinating awards: researching trophy and award options appropriate to the event's scale and tone, figuring out prize pool distribution across the four events, and having everything ready in time for the awards ceremony. Taste and resourcefulness matter more than budget here.
